Forgive me, readers, for I have neglected my blog recently. Exactly 2 months ago, we headed off on holiday to visit family in Namibia. My first, and long dreamed, trip to Africa. I had hoped I might see a secretary bird, but it proved elusive, as I have been these past couple of months. I did, however, see giraffe, elephant, rhino, jackal, hyena, and various types of gazelle and birds. I have to confess, my first elephant saw me burst into tears and then, rather dramatically, spring a nosebleed (the climate was very dry). I can heartily recommend visiting Namibia – they call it “Africa light” because it is an easy and safe country to navigate, particularly for Brits.

On our return, some life crises took over, but all is settled now and good routines can resume. One of the issues was that we had halted, for reasons too long and boring to go into, sorting out our home back in January, leaving a dozen boxes and most of our pictures stacked up in the corner of a temporary office that felt like a bit of a dumping ground. No longer! The boxes are unpacked, the pictures hung, and we have a new, bright and airy office space as you can see below. So now, you can picture me happily working here on your admin needs – if I can help, please do get in touch.
