Priory Secretarial Services

In the week since I launched Priory Secretarial Services, I have been blown away by all the positive responses on various social media sites – including personal accounts – from friends and networking contacts. Thank you to everyone for being so enthusiastic for me and for the encouragement every like and comment has given me.

I might not have found my first client yet, but I’ve had one enquiry for possible future work – the enquirer’s project is still in very early days but they wanted to explore the VA option and could factor it into their resourcing plans. We will keep in touch and it will be exciting to see how their project takes shape. You may be wondering how I have spent the last sunshiny week without clients. Well, I am still working at a regular job for 2.5 days a week, and I am also writing a novel which needs research and thinking time.

I took the above picture at the seaside at the weekend. Why is it relevant here, other than as a testament to the amazing blue skies we have been enjoying? Because I paddled. And that is what I feel I am doing now: taking that first step into the water and enjoying every splashy one that follows. Next week I am meeting my goddaughter at the beach and have promised to join her in a swim – I can’t wait. Just as I can’t wait to immerse myself in supporting clients. Remember, every minute that a VA works for you, they are working hard and utterly focussed only on you. Come on in, the water’s fine!
